Example: Clearing ports under Windows Firewall

You will find the Windows Security Center under the Windows System Control panel.

Select Windows Firewall under Manage security settings for.

  1. Under "Windows Firewall" select the tab "Exceptions".
  2. Click the button Add Program.

Within the dialogue box "Add a Program" click the button "Browse".

  1. Now select the prgram directory for Calling-Us. This is by default "C:\Program Files\Calling-Us".
  2. Select the subdirectory "bin".
  3. Select the file "callrun" and click Open.
  4. Confirm the two open dialouge boxes with Ok.

You will need to restart the service "Calling-Us Run Module" so that the Calling-Us Call Center will be able to cope with the new Windows Firewall setting.

Under Windows XP you will find the Service Control in "Control Panel - Administration - Services".
